Outdoor Training Academy (OTA) helps people enjoy the outdoors, learn new skills and develop their abilities.
Our guiding idea is Omoshiroku, Tanoshiku, Asobou (面白く、楽しく、遊ぼう) — “Keep it interesting, have fun and play.” We believe that learning and improving can open up more ways to enjoy the outdoors.
OTA is run by Nobu Ota, a ski instructor and instructor trainer.
CSIA courses in Japan
The Canadian Ski Instructors’ Alliance (CSIA) is a Canadian organisation that trains and certifies ski instructors.
CSIA courses develop both your skiing and your teaching skills. Alongside improving your own skiing, you learn how to help your students progress safely and enjoy their time on the snow.
OTA hosts CSIA courses at Tomamu, Nekoma Mt. and Yubari with CSIA Japan and local course teams.
